Cloud platforms built to be operated, not just launched

Most cloud pain is not the cloud. It is a console someone clicked through eighteen months ago that nobody can reproduce. We put the estate in code, make deployment boring, and leave you with runbooks that work when the person who wrote them is on leave.

What we insist on

  • No clicking in consoles. Terraform for the estate, reviewed like application code. If it is not in the repository, it does not exist and cannot be rebuilt.
  • Deployment is not a ceremony. A merge builds, tests, scans and ships. Rollback is a documented, rehearsed step rather than an improvisation under pressure.
  • Observability before incidents. Logs, metrics and traces wired up while things are calm, with alerts tied to symptoms users feel rather than to CPU graphs.
  • Cost as an engineering metric. Spend attributed per service and reviewed monthly. Cloud bills grow quietly until someone is accountable for the line items.
